A warm welcome to Wagner! In “Dribbdebach“, as we call the part of Frankfurt south of the River Main, in the beautiful Sachsenhausen district, our restaurant awaits you with the traditional atmosphere of Frankfurt’s apple wine culture. This is the place to get together with friends, acquaintances, business partners as well as travelers from all over the world in order to have a glass of apple wine (a “Schoppen”, as it is called) and other specialties which are typical of Frankfurt. Stop by and enjoy the unique atmosphere. We are looking forward to seeing you!
I ordered homemade Bratwurst with apple wine. How can you forget ordering apple wine in the middle of German apple wine civilization?! They come in beautiful glasses. I forgot the name but there is a tower in the city named after this sort of glasses because it looks like them. The food was delicious. A great German dish for sausage lovers.
The waiter was in the middle of joking at or making fun of Asian customers. I didn't feel comfortable being treated like this. You were forced to share the table. The waiter didn't want to listen to your order, just because we don't speak fluent German but speak English. The restaurant was recommended by a Frankfurt grown up colleague, but I have to say the food tasted so bad! In general I like sausages and potatoes, but our food just tasted too bad. Apfelwein is ok but I am not sure if it was from the bottle or they made it themselves. If you want nice German food, better go to lokalbahnhof area. 真的很不好吃,而且服务员对亚洲人态度不友好
Fantastic food, great service and atmosphere. This will definitely be a regular stop of ours in the Sachsenhausen area!
Great place which shows how it might have been back in the days. Food is pretty yummy!!!
The food is authentic and delicious
Great place to taste some German food selection specialties, including a few vegetarian dishes
Delicious food and tasty Apfelwein!
The best pork knuckles in town..reasonable price and good ambiance. Definitely will come again when I travel to Frankfurt
Traditional and good
Bad place, I will never come back... Food not so good, apple wine is not so good, attendance was terrible... I also saw a mouse walking around the floor...
One of the best places to have a good meal
Food was fine, the service was terrible. Never experienced such unpleasant, passive aggressive, waiters. Not recommended, maybe they're nicer to locals.
Amazing green sauce and Apple Wein. I had grilled fish from special menu it was crisp outside and juicy inside perfectly cooked and Seasoned. The service person was Super friendly and also gave me a pack of green sauce to take with me.
Service is too slow and unfriendly expect long waiting , food is good though
Good food, friendly staff and quick serving. Maybe the location is not the best, but it makes up in the food they serve
Lovely traditional food, nice space and friendly service.
The serve is too slow (almost 1.5 hours after the order). I don’t recommend for family. The adults only would be best. The atmosphere of this restaurant is quite good.
Wonderful food and great local vibes. It's the season of white asparagus and it tasted so good. Service a little gruff but I think it's part of boisterous atmosphere here.
Nice Place, Okay food
The staff were not friendly and welcoming:/
Wonderful evening. Very good food, service and atmosphere. Thanks a lot!
No customer service, all the waiters grumpy and arrogant. Way more cozy the restaurant near by
Very tasty German food. High recommendations
The place is really nice specially in the summers . If you want to enjoy the "Frankfurter Grüner Soße" then this is one of the good places to be. The waiters are very nice and the food is very good as well. All in all a very good experience:).
Best place for local food!
True German experience! Even though the waiters are rude the bartender. Is super friendly and food is amazing. You feel like you’re in a big family table, sitting these long wooden tables having warm chat with the people next to you!
Love it
Fast & efficient service, tasty food. Good apfelwein
Great place to experience the Frankfurt Cuisine and some delicious apple wine with a "Mispelchen" as a local digestif, of course also on an apple base. The place is visited by locals and tourists. Staff is friendly if you manage to surf the same vibes. Cards are accepted and reservations possible for groups of 6 or more.
The best schnitzel I've had and the apple wine was good too with a drop of water.
Ver bery good food!!
typical german restaurant with amazing apple wine and german ambience. must visit
Typical German atmosphere, very basic German food
Nice place
Lovely staff. Great appfelwein, no beer. Nice food
Mainstream but classic
The service was really bad. Very short temper and really slow. The excuse was the change of shifts. We were waiting more than half and hour for our desserts... I would not recommend going there. And there is no beer. Only wine, softs drinks and the apple wine...
It's a good place. A person I know always celebrates here his birthday (already 5 years or so). I wouldn't say it is the best Apfelweinwirtschaft in Frankfurt but it is definitely good. It is the first place where I have found alcohol free Apfelwein and I have to admit it tastes quite good! Green Sauce is delicious as well. As for Schnitzels... Nothing special. Goulash soul is small so don't expect it will make you full.
One of the best traditional Frankfurt food places
Well, they have local foods. Its up to one's taste to like it. For me it was not so pleasing. Yet I could see many people enjoying it. I tried beef sausage, veggy plate and cheese onion plate with apple wine. The place is a cozy one, the people next to us offered apple wine as we sat down for instance. Prices are like any other restaurant
Traditional Frankfurt venue with apple wine and 7-herb green sauce, which is excellent. The apple wine complemented my pork schnitzel with green sauce and potatoes perfectly. Short walk across the bridge over the Main from the centre. Great views on the way to this venue.
Taste perfect awful service
I have heard from locals that this restaurant is one of the best in Frankfurt. The food was delicious and it is not extremely expensive although it is also not very budget friendly. You will probably spend around 20€ for a hearty meal. But it can be nice to try some local food especially the green sauce and aple wine of Frankfurt once in a while.
Delicious
Excellent!
Rude service
The taste was amazing, the attention was very good. Good place :)
In this place you can breath really a German atmosphere, and the menu offers typical dishes. The quality is high and the price is reasonable. Strongly recommended!
Very tasty!
Great shnitzel Frankfurt Style and Apple Strudel!??️
